About Mary
I attended the University of Dallas and graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in English and a Creative Writing minor. After a three and a half year stint teaching English at an all-boys Catholic school in Houston, I'm now living the dream--staying at home with my two (for now) children and writing whatever I can whenever I can.
I'm especially eager to indulge my creative impulses, which, more or less, boil down to writing Catholic fiction. I'm in the midst of writing a collection of short stories right now on the young Catholic woman and her struggles to maintain her faith in a faithless world.
I'm also juggling the demands of being a wife and mother and all of the glamour that goes along with it. When I find myself with a free moment, I go on a long walk, read a book, or watch a movie. Somehow, through it all, I long to deepen my faith, my understanding of God and man, and my love for this world and the next.
